Indian stylist bags 5th position at OMC Global Hair Stylist Awards

Kamlesh Sen of Champion Gents Beauty Parlour, Rajasthan, secured fifth position at the OMC Global Hair Stylist Award 2018, at Paris in the Online Hair Cut Photography Competition in Gents Fade Cut Category. He came first in the Asia Pacific region.

Hairdresser Kamlesh Sen from Champion Gents Beauty Parlour in Udaipur, Rajasthan, has done his country proud. His entry into the  OMC Global Hair Stylist Award 2018, Paris, made it to the top five. He had participated in the Online Hair Cut Photography Competition in Gents Fade Cut Category. He got the first position in Asia Pacific region, thereby becoming the only Indian to have made it so far. He is also the first Asian to make it into the top five. He was pitted against 115 hairstylists from all across the globe.

India participated in this competition under the banner of All India Hair & Beauty Association (AIHBA). Sen said that AIHBA is responsible for training and guiding the youth of India to participate in international competitions. AIHBA is affiliated with OMC Hair World, an organised group of world beauty organisations. OMC Global Hair Stylist Award 2018 were held under the banner of OMC Hair World.

The competition commenced on 1st Feb,2018 and concluded on 25th June, 2018. the final results were announced on 30th June, 2018 and Sen was declared to be on the 5th position globally, and first position in Asia Pacific, for the gents fade cut that he had created on his model. He was awarded a certificate honouring this achievement.
