Starting with a skincare range, Bollywood beauty Deepika Padukone’s self-care brand 82°E brings in holistic wellness solutions.
Global Indian icon Deepika Padukone has launched her self-care brand – 82°E. Padukone has been an advocate of mental, physical and emotional well-being. With her new brand, she introduces premium, high-performance products. Self-care is made simple and effective with 82°E.
Pronounced Eighty-Two East, the name stands for the standard time of the country. The name is also reflective of Padukone’s journey and experience.
82°E is India’s first celebrity-owned self-care brand, backed by global institutional venture capitalists.
In-house experts have formulated each skincare product in this range. Each product combines an Indian ingredient with a scientific compound.
Padukone, Co-founder, 82°E, says, “Wherever I am in the world, practising simple acts of self-care consistently, helps me stay grounded and enables me to feel my most centred. With 82°E, I hope to inspire us all to connect with our truest, most authentic selves through consistent and humble self-care practices. The first step in that direction is our range of skincare products that have been rigorously sourced, carefully crafted and clinically tested.”
The launch of 82°E also marks Padukone’s foray into full-fledged entrepreneurship. Prior to this, she has been seen as an actor and producer as well as a mental health advocate. Her NGO, The Live Love Laugh Foundation, helps individuals deal with mental health issues.
Revolutionary formulas are the highlight of the current skincare line. 82°E will expand into other categories that support a holistic approach to self-care.
