A Hairomatherapy evening with Schwarzkopf!

At a fun-filled evening at a suburban restaurant, Schwarzkopf Professional unveiled Oil Ultime, its aromatherapy inspired hair care range. It was an evening for Hairomatherapy!

Olive Bar & Kitchen at Khar in Mumbai was abuzz with beauty aficionados on the evening of 28th November. Schwarzkopf Professional had hosted an event to unveil its Oil Ultime range of hair care products. And the conversation over drinks and dinner was all about Hairomatherapy!

The evening started with the emcee introducing the brand team to the members of the audience. Shama Dalal, Head of Marketing, Schwarzkopf India, spoke about the conception of Oil Ultime. The idea of aromatherapy was behind the ingredients used in the products. She elaborated on how millenials were now investing more in experiences than brands and products. In line with this market research, the Oil Ultime range is designed to enhance the consumer’s experience in the salon chair as well as at home.

The head trainer at the ASK Academy in Mumbai, Melissa, explained to the audience the key ingredients in each product and its functions. She expounded on the in-salon treatments and their benefits while highlighting the importance of good at-home care. Some of the important ingredients that make up Oil Ultime collection are argan oil, marula oil, rose oil and Barbary fig oil. Each range caters to different hair type and concern and has its own in-salon ritual. The products include shampoos, conditioners, mousse, oil-in-cream treatment, finishing oils, etc.

The brand had also invited celebrity hairstylist Florian Hurel. He was announced as the brand ambassador of Schwarzkopf India. Regarding his appointment, Florian said, “Starting my career in Paris 14 years ago and working all over the world, Schwarzkopf has been a brand I’ve loved using from the start of my career. Schwarzkopf represents quality, beauty, innovation and expertise. Being appointed as its brand ambassador is a real highlight in my career.”

Speaking about the Oil Ultime range he said that the loved the way the products can be used as per a hairdresser’s discretion. For instance, he likes using the finishing oil on wet hair and then blow dry it for a stunning look.

Schwarzkopf India had also invited celebrity fitness guru and Pilates expert, Yasmin Karachiwala. In her answers to the emcee’s questions, Yasmin said that she lays a lot of importance to aromatherapy as it adds to the overall experience. She always keeps lavendar oil burning at the entrance of her studio so that patrons associate fitness with wellness. Having used the Oil Ultime products, she was happy that aromatherapy had made it into the realm of hair care.

The evening proceeded to be happening time with the audience interacting with Florian and Melissa, checking out the products and having a good time over food and drinks.
