Here’s the excerpt from the interview with the Raw Beauty founder:

Inspiration Behind the brand:

Sunayana Walia grew up in a family where making homemade tooth powder, face wash powders, face scrubs and shampoos was a weekly activity. Over the years, her friends appreciated and encouraged her to share her heirloom recipes with the rest of the world and this is how Raw Beauty was born.

The name Raw Beauty stands for accepting and embracing our natural beauty. And not hiding behind unrealistic and worldly standards. Last but not least, encourage feeling confident in your own skin. Along with feeling enhanced what you are gifted with.

USP Of the Brand:

We offer plant based skincare and haircare solutions that are ‘beginner friendly’ and ‘effective’.

Our USP is that our products are a holistic blend of ancient Indian wisdom and native ingredients with modern sensibilities and globally sourced active ingredients. Our formulations are gentle and meticulously made for multiple uses.

Brand Vision for next 5 years:

I envision Raw Beauty as a household name in the next 5 years. Our goal is to build the same connection with people they had with their heirloom recipes. And the trust they once had in ancient wisdom.

We want to burst the myth that skincare should only start when problems arise. Skincare is for all age groups and is for daily care of the skin, body and hair. We want to promote mindful consumption and holistic wellness.
