Makeup was seen as a girls-only pursuit but not anymore. These gender-breaking beauty pioneers have significantly changed the whole game over the years and have made it the new normal.
For generations, makeup has been seen as a “girls-only” enterprise. In the beauty business, as we have known, beauty products have been sold to men for decades, but they were often and quite always repackaged under the title of “grooming,” just to make it seem more masculine.
Even though this concept of genderless beauty is hardly new, for the first time in centuries, men wearing makeup is not completely taboo like it was before. Thanks to social media and the emergence of male beauty influencers like James Charles and Bretman Rock. Now, beauty/makeup is in the stages of becoming more gender-inclusive as time goes by.
