British Hairdressers Awards (BHA’s) is the Oscar of the hairdressing community. It is a dream come true for every hairdresser to be part of the finalists. And showcase their collection to the community.
Each look created by the finalist has its own story. Gear up to witness one of the inspirational and finalist collections of BHA’s created by Antonio Palladino. A finalist for Eastern Hairdresser of the Year at the British Hairdressing Awards 2022 sponsored by Schwarzkopf Professional.
Collection Name: Heritage Daydream
“In this latest collection, I wanted to create a range of intriguing images. And very much in tune with the diverse editorial shoots in ‘Another’ magazine”, Antonio Palladino said of Heritage Daydream.
He further continues, “I found inspiration for the hair while musing over the Sassoon archive. And developed ideas on textures and shapes that would be both strong and thought-provoking. While I have always loved edgy looks. But for this collection, I was keen to keep an air of dreamy softness and classic beauty.”
1. E Veil – This is an extended 3-point veil technique using a head-hugging precision shape.
2. M bob – Disconnected modern bob with a beautiful copper multi-dimensional colour.
3. T Shape- Beautiful shape using texture created on wooden pins
3. T Form – This textured image was achieved by creating relaxed curls around the perimeter. Whilst curling with more gusto in the internal section.
4. D Rama – Beautiful crafted look full of drama melting colours and plenty of texture
5. S Shola – simple and elegant styled naturally with a silver glaze applied to add more dimension.
