Bye bye acne!

Acne is a skin condition that occurs when your hair follicles become clogged with oil and dead skin cells. Acne is a disease and pimples are one of its symptoms. There are many treatments to get rid of the acne such as chemical peels, laser treatments and micro needling radio. However, not everyone can avail these treatments. Here are a few tips that will help your control your acne:

Cleanse
Washing face gently twice a day with the mild cleanser especially for acne helps to unclog pores and reduce acne bacteria, balance the PH level of the skin, removes all the impurities, dead skin cells, and extra oil from the surface of the skin. This washing our face twice daily should be one’s regime that everyone should follow.

Aloe and tea tree miracle!
Aloe vera and Tea tree tree oil both are boon for skin with acne. If we are using Aloe vera and Tea tree oil mask or cleanser they help us in reducing redness due to acne, reduce acne scars and make the skin smooth and clear. It is important to remember that tree tea oils are very abrasive on the skin if used directly. Always ensure to mix your essential oil in a carrier oil/moisturizer/gel for safe topical application.

Honey and cucumber mask 
Cucumber is very cooling for the face and acne with its anti-inflammatory properties. It is also loaded with Vitamin C and folic acid. Honey is also rich in minerals and nutrients and proved as an anti acne product. This mask helps in cooling and soothing the skin. Apply this mask once a week for effective results.

Supplements
The essential fatty acids in fish oil benefit the skin and acne by tackling the root cause of acne that is acne hormones. Zinc also helps clear acne causing bacteria and reduce the oil. Thus intake of both can give the great results for acne.

Oil free products 
Acne prone skin should avoid using oily products. As acne occurs very fast on oily skin. There are some oils such as argan, pomegranate, jojoba oil that are skin compatible and absorb well while not feeling too heavy or greasy.

While these tips will help you reduce the inflammation caused by acne, they are not the permanent solution. Consult a dermatologist for the right analysis to solve your acne woes.
