Give your skin some masking goodness!

Despite being stuck at home, your skin still needs its pampering. Payal Upase is here with a list of simple DIY masks you can indulge in while staying indoors

You may not be venturing out into the scorching sun these days, but your skin still needs its TLC. Here are a few simple face packs to keep your skin feeling the love!

Glow baby
Ingredients – 1tbsp plain Yogurt, 1 tbsp Honey and 1 tbsp Turmeric.
Mix these three ingredients to form a paste and apply a thin layer on your skin. Leave this mask for 15 mins and wait for it to dry completely. This mask is a simple three ingredient mask that will nourish your skin and leave it glowing and feeling nourished. This mask is ideal for dry to combination skin types.

Spot treatment for your acne
Ingredients – 1tsp Nutmeg powder and a few drops of water.
Make a thick paste out of the nutmeg powder and add a few drops of water. Apply this powder on your pimples and leave it for a couple of hours. Let it dry and wash it off gently with cold water. Do not apply this on your entire face, it is meant to be just a spot treatment.

Oily skin
Ingredients – 1tsp Rice flour, 1tsp Honey, 1tsp Rose water, 1 tsp Aloe vera and 1 tsp Curd.
Make a paste out of these ingredients and apply the mask in a thin layer on your skin. This mask will help in calming your skin while moisturizing it. This will ensure that your skin doesn’t over produce oil and still be soft and nourished. Wash off this mask after 20 mins with cold water.

Dry skin
Ingredients– 2 tsp Honey, ½ tsp milk, ½ tsp almond powder and 2 drops of lemon juice.
This mask is the perfect mask for dry skin. It helps moisturize and nourish the skin. Make sure the almond powder is super fine to ensure a smooth application. Apply for 15 mins and wash off with lukewarm water.
