As the world is witnessing a new normal, so is this awards night. Moved to the online stage, the Professional Beauty Awards 2020, sponsored by: the British Beauty Council, BABTAC, Biologique Recherche, Dermalogica, Elemis, Hidden Beauty UK, NHBF, Phorest, UK Spa Association, and VTCT, took place on 08-Dec-2020 to celebrate the talents of the beauty, spa, nails and aesthetics markets. Being the most prestigious and established awards scheme, this awards recognises those who make a real difference to the industry and encourages their development.
The Categories
This year, Professional Beauty introduced two new awards categories: Spa/Salon Leader of the Year & Spa/Salon Team of the Year to appreciate the leadership and team spirit among salon professional and give them recognition on a platform of this magnitude for their hardwork and dedication.
Other categories like: Employer of the Year, Therapist of the Year, Nail Salon of the Year, Boutique Spa of the Year, Large Spa of the Year, Boutique Salon of the Year and Large Salon of the Year along with Regional Spa of the Year and Regional Salon of the year remain the same like every year.
The Professional Beauty 2020 Awards
Over the years, the awards have grown, not only in size but also importance within the beauty industry, and received over 250 entries in 2020. With multiple entries received for in various categories, it has been an extremely difficult task to whittle down who would be nominated. But it is always a humbling experience full of gratefulness to showcase the nominees each year. Being nominated is proof itself that the salon business is a world class player of their industry.
