Lakmé Salon gives salon manager Snehal Kadam an entrepreneurial platform as she becomes the first LEAP partner in Mumbai.
Snehal Kadam started with Lakmé Salons as a manager in 2014 and charted a growth path to being a salon owner. In her capacity of a salon manager at the Kalamboli, Seawoods and Vashi branches of the salon, she brought recognition to her team by winning the awards of ‘Best Emerging Salon’ and ‘Best Salon of the Year’ in the internal Lakmé Lever award ceremony – Glitterati.
Kadam decided to pursue her dream to open her own Lakmé Salon. On July 4, 2022, this dream became a reality in Panvel, Maharashtra, thanks to Lakmé Entrepreneurship Awards Programme (LEAP).
“I honestly didn’t think it would be possible to open my own salon, let alone so quickly. But the company, my colleagues and managers have encouraged me every step of the way and today, I’m proud and fulfilled. In the next year, I want my salon to become the highest achieving one and hopefully I will open another one soon as well,” Kadam was quoted saying in an official news release.
