Taking inspiration from the Pantone colour of the season, Living Coral, Amsterdam based make-up artist Sharon Knuiman of Make Up Studio demonstrated a look that impressed the audience at the Make Up Week 2019.
Sharon Knuiman comes with more than 13 years of experience in make-up artistry. She started as a freelancer and joined the cosmetic brand – Make-Up Studio eight years ago. Complementing to the Indian skin tone, she presented a look which embraced the coral vibes.
First Step – Eyes
Sharon Knuiman started the look with filling the eyebrow wherein she used the pro brow gel liner to fill and defined them. After prepping the eye lids with primer, she opted for Make Up Studio baked eye shadow in the shade purple canvas. She went on to add a black shadow in the centre of the lid and blended the hues together, giving us a burgundy smoky look. With the two way gel, she dabbed on Make Up Studio Glimmer Effect glitter powder in the shade sunset orange.
Second Step – Face
For the base, Sharon mixed olive sunset and vanilla, two silicone based foundations, from Make Up Studio. She concealed the under-eyes with the shade fudge and banana. To give dimension to the face, she used Make Up Studio Shaping Box Palette, which consists of three highlighting and two contour shades.
Champagne halo highlighter powder was used to highlight the cheekbones. For blush, she opted for the Make Up Studio Eyeshadow Lumeire.
Third Step – Lips
To get the entire look together, Make up Studio Matte Silk Effect Liquid lipstick in the shade gypsy pink was applied.
Sharon Knuiman’s work of art completely mesmerised the audience. As she was bringing out the finest coral look, Sharon shared her overall experience of working with Make Up Studio and anecdotes of working behind the scene at fashion shows.
