Monica Bahl appointed the new CEO of B&WSSC, paving way for positive changes.
Monica Bahl has taken over the leadership at the Beauty & Wellness Sector Skills Council (B&WSSC). She takes the mantle from erstwhile CEO Annu Wadhwa and her team comprising Aradhana Tripathi who headed operations and Pratibha Dusaj who was the deputy head.
Monica has more than 23 years of experience in leadership roles within the service industry, including strategic planning, organisation building and P&L management. She also has 15 years of multi-functional experience in business management and development. She is a visionary with proven year after year progress in achieving growth objective and start-up projects.
She holds a master’s degree in Community Resource Management and Extension (CRME) from Lady Irwin College, Delhi University, where she secured the second distinction position. She has extensively worked across India, South East Asia and the Gulf region to establish and operate brands.
Speaking to Professionalbeauty.in, Monica said that she is looking forward to her role as the CEO of B&WSSC. Regarding her vision for the Council, she said, “Together, may we give our youth and women the skilling roots to grow and career wings to fly”.
