Professional Beauty Mumbai Concludes With Record Visitor Numbers

The Professional Beauty Mumbai show was a jam packed event with 18,013 beauty and hair professionals from across the country in attendance.

Professional Beauty India, South Asia’s largest beauty expo concluded with 18,013 beauty professionals including salon owners, parlour owners, hairdressers, therapists, nail technicians, freelancers across the hair, skin, make-up and nail segments attending the physical event at Bombay Exhibition Centre, and joined by a digital audience of 36,636 witnessing the live updates of the event through the PBI social media channels.

The 20th edition also marked the 10 year anniversary of Professional Beauty’s entry into India. Spread across 15,000 sq. mtrs of business space at one of Mumbai’s most popular exhibition centres, with over 350+ brands participating across the verticals of hair, skin, make-up, spa and nails as well as salon tools, accessories and furniture, this latest edition cemented PBIs position as the key meeting place for the industry.

With the theme of ‘Celebrating the Beauty and Hair Industry’, the key highlights of the expo included:

Salon Management Conference:

The Salon Management Congress gave the attendees ample chance to benefit from the expertise and experiences of industry veterans like Dr Blossom Kochhar, CK Kumaravel, Seema Jerajani, Pushkaraj Shenai, Sushmita Sarangi, Dr Rekha Chaudhary, Pravesh Shah, Gunjan Taneja, Samir Srivastava, Vikram Bhatt, Pawan Duggal and many more on a variety of themes, including salon management, scaling-up strategies, staff management, and business expansion.
Professional Beauty India offered the industry a much-needed platform for networking, training, and sourcing by bringing with it a worldwide legacy of knowledge and experience. And Salon Management Congress provided new opportunities for stakeholders in the business, including knowing the most recent developments in the beauty industry and learning from experts in the field.

Live Demo stages:

The showstopper, live demo stage of Professional Beauty India, which is a hub of learning was 2X this year. The show witnessed two demo stages.

The first stage was the ‘HJ Stage’ that mainly focused on hair sessions with some amazing works by Savio John Periera, an Avant Garde Collection launch by Seema Jerajani, Cyrus Mathew, Elton Steve, Vivek Bhatia and many more.

The second stage was the ‘Beauty Stage’ that focused on sessions related to skin, make-up and nails. The stage witnessed glamour sessions by Ojas Rajani, Jiya Sosa, Bijal Gada, Vaishnavi Jain, Unnati Singh, Prachy Adesara, Arpita Das, Keerti Joshi and many more.
In two days, the learning and education experience was amplified with almost 65+ demos.

Apart from the Live Demo Stage and Salon Management Congress, the Expo was full of learning opportunities as exhibitors had private stages with live sessions.

Professional Beauty Mumbai 2022 had something for everyone. It was the platform where salons and artists could meet multiple brands from hair styling to hair care, make-up to skincare, nail, salon furniture and more.
