Salon management Congress at Professional Beauty Delhi brought a whole new level of business expertise to the participants.
Salon Management Congress, presented in association with Beaute Espace Ltd., started off on a promising note as delegates flocked in to listen to experts talk about concerns faced by salon owners and provide workable solutions.
Insights of the Event
SMC kick-started with an intensive panel discussion that concerned with what’s on the horizon of the salon industry. Dr. Blossom Kochhar of Blossom Kochhar Academy, Vikram Mohan of Bounce salon, Raman Bharadwaj of AN John Salon, and Indra Ahluwalia of Grace salon were the masters who provided insights on this engaging topic.
Paying heed to the important issue in the salon industry, experts – Samir Srivastava of Jean Claude Biguine, Kohinoor Mandal of Jawed Habib, Pankaj Killa of Headturners Salon spoke about the pay structure of the industry. Thereafter, content marketing strategy was a subject which was talked about by Sachin Kamat of Enrich salons, Vibhoar of Neu Salon and independent make-up artist Anjum Bharadwaj.
Further, ace interior designer Viki Thakkar, Subham Virmani of Esskay and Ruchi Vedwa addressed the delegates pertaining to how one can renovate their salon on budget. Last but not least the day was bought to an end with a key topic of striking the balance between creativity and business wherein the key speakers were Savio John Pereria of Savio John Pereria salons, Rachit Malhotra of Wahl, Deepak Jalhan of LOOKS salon, Pammy Kaul of Headmasters Salon.
Day 2 at SMC was filled with insightful workshops. The extravaganza of the workshops started with Kohinoor Mandal – Master Franchise, Jawed Habib Hair & Beauty providing his opinions on the topic as to how one can measure productivity and ROI in salons. The SMC delegates found his workshop to be especially informative as franchising is a trending business format in the beauty industry right now.
Taking the day forward speakers – Subham Virmani and Pankaj Killa conducted a workshop on understanding the art of retailing in-salon. It was met with a warm response from the delegates as eager questions were pitched to the experts. Pierre Rennette – Vice President, Special Markets & Export at Olivia Garden Int.Inc shared her success story of becoming the world leader. Her story proved to be an inspiring one for the salon owners in the audience.
Ubaid Dandekar, Director of R Nail Lounge, engaged the audience’s undivided interest with his workshop on nail bar business in salons. This session was highly appreciated by the delegates as they had many questions for Ubaid at the end of it. Veer Kaul, Director of Headmasters Salon, summed up the day with his workshop on freelancing and uberisation of the salon services.
