Makeup artists in India are very big on bridal makeup considering its demand in the country. Makeup Studio Amsterdam brought Sharon Knuiman to India to show aspiring makeup artists her bridal make-up tips and tricks.

Eye-conic
Sharon started the bridal make-up look by defining the brows and filling them in using Makeup Studio’s Brow Gel in the shade Dark. After shaping the brows, she defined the brow by using the concealer in the shade banana. She primed the eyelids next and lined the crease with a warm toned dark brown in Makeup studios matte eyeshadow in the shade No 200. For this bridal eye look, she decided to use the halo technique and to do so she applied the same dark brown shade on the crease, outer and inner corner. Sharon then packed gold in the center of the eyelid using the eyeshadow Citrine gold shade from the Lumiere range, which comprises of baked eyeshadows. To amp up the glitter in the halo eye look she used the Glitter effect in the shade brown diamond and stuck it on using Makeup studios glitter glue. Sharon then applied the colour Candy to accentuate the crease and added the highlighter in Moondust in the inner corner of the eye.

Facing it off
For the model’s base make-up, Sharon used the Face It foundation by Makeup studio which is water repellent which made it a perfect option for bridal makeup. She then contoured her face using the Shaping Box cream contour and highlighting palette in the shade EP064. For highlighter she used the liquid illuminator in the shade Bronze for a shimmer effect.

Finishing touches
Final touches to the glam bridal look involved a burgundy red on the lips and added the Lumiere eyeshadow in ruby red over it for a 3D look. For lashes, Sharon used the 4D lash mascara and added false lashes. Sharon’s look was simple, elegant and classy. Her make-up accentuated the bride’s beauty. During the session, Sharon shared her insights and dished out her experiences with Indian brides back in Europe. The audience was thoroughly impressed with the bridal look and took home new tips, tricks and lots of selfies!
