Beauty & Wellness Sector Skill Council (B&WSSC) proudly announces its collaboration with Atharva Takke, Director – U Takke’s Academy. They have co-created e-learning videos on hair care as per B&WSSC’s NSQF level of learning for uninterrupted learning of students are available free of cost on eSkill India.

To reach out to maximum people who are at home due to the pandemic and are looking to learn hair related techniques, U-Takke Academy and B&WSSC collaborated to create videos that would help budding hair artists help learn the basic. eSkillIndia, is an online learning portal launched by the Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship & National Skill Development Corporation for skilling of the Indian Youth.
The eSkillIndia platform currently has two videos by B&WSSC and U-Takke’s Academy that touch base upon the techniques of Shampoo and Conditioning of hair and scalp; and about preparing and maintaining the work area of the hairstylist.

“As the pandemic hit us and learning became a virtual process, the idea of sharing knowledge came up in a conversation with Monica Bahl. That’s when we decided to create videos that will help aspiring hair artist to learn basic techniques while being at home” said Atharva Takke.
According to Atharva, every aspirant hair artist must take as much knowledge possible from professionally curated videos to learn the basics of their craft. In the past couple of years, online learning has picked up and even more through the pandemic. While advanced techniques need to be learned through practice, he is in favour of gaining knowledge of basics online and plans the same for him academy in the near future.
He also plans to make and share more videos on eSkillIndia about basic haircut techniques and hair colouring techniques to further share knowledge with upcoming industry enthusiasts.
