The recent Professional Beauty India Kolkata edition took place on April 22 and 23, 2024 at the Biswa Bangla Mela Prangan. As the show recorded a footfall of 6821 visitors, it was a massive hit in the city. The visitors at the PBI expo were not only limited to West Bengal. Rather, there was a massive participation from beauty enthusiasts and professionals from Jharkhand, Odisha, Sikkim, Meghalaya, Bihar, Delhi, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka, and Haryana.
The show witnesses participation from beauty professionals across hair, skin, make-up, nails and wellness. Along with distributors, salon owners, salon managers, and students also graced the venue with full zeal. They all took home a vast chunk of knowledge that would surely be instrumental for their career growth and expansion. Be it networking opportunities, familiarisation with new and trendy products, witnessing demos, or interacting with experts – the show had something valuable for all.
With a gigantic exhibition space, the venue witnessed over 200 exhibiting brands across hair, skin, make-up, spa and nail verticals along with salon tools and accessories. This further cemented Professional Beauty India’s position as the key meeting place for the northeast beauty industry.

During this edition, the hair stage, the ‘HJ Stage’ saw demos by Priscilla Corner, Vikas Marhwah, Gourav Bhardwaj, Sidney Ho, Amit Tonk, and many more.
The skin, nails, and makeup demos took place at the ‘Beauty Stage’. The stage hosted Disha Pandya as she demonstrated some new-age nail techniques. Furthermore, Arpita Das and Dolly Bhatia imparted knowledge about skincare. Additionally, Siddhart Jaiswal, Amit Karmakar, Joy Ghosh, and Sneha Bhowmick, amongst others demonstrated mesmerising makeup demos.
