It will be soon available at the Looks Salon locations across India.

THE BIG COLLABORATION

What makes the StartStuck by Sunny Leone unique?
I have personally tested all the products. I’ve tested them on myself. I feel like if it doesn’t look good on me when I am on TV, or at press events, if it doesn’t last, then how is it going to last on anybody else?
How long did it take for you to curate the product ranges?
It’s been over five years. When we started the fragrance line, I wanted to get into cosmetics. I always wanted a cosmetic deal, but no one was going to give it to me. So I had to do it myself. I talked to Daniel, and that was that.
Do you have any multi-use products?
A lip tint, that will take. I have personally done that. I put it on my lips and cheek. You have to get creative at times. Our blush stick can be second as lipstick if needed. I’ve personally tried them everywhere and anywhere in different climates, in different humidity, dryness, wherever, over the last so many years.
What are your top picks, your favourites?
That’s a difficult one, right? I like the red one. I put it on lightly then top it with blue. It gives a beautiful ombre shade. Some shimmer lip gloss and it looks beautiful. It works for all skin types and it’s silky!
I worked on the functionality of our packaging as well. I like it a particular way and I got it. All in all, I love my makeup!
Are all your products manufactured in India?
Yes, so everything is done here. We started with folding the formulae and palettes at different locations. But just as we were to set up, COVID-19 happened. So we had to redo the formulas and find the companies that were going to make it to the specifications that I wanted. I wanted to create something that would be affordable for somebody.
Do you also put efforts into making the products eco-friendly?
Yes, we are certified and approved by PETA. There’s no animal testing. Most of them are now vegan.
Animal testing is not something that India condones, which is great. It forces us as business owners to think outside of the box about how to develop ecologically.
