Christian Breton specialises in skincare products designed for the delicate areas of the face, especially around the eyes. The journey began in the 1970s when Madame Breton, Christian’s mother and a distinguished scientist, dedicated her research to addressing premature skin ageing. Christian grew up observing her work and developed a keen interest in her research. Over time, this interest blossomed into a passion for skincare research.
In 1991, Christian Breton established his own skincare brand, becoming the first to specifically and expertly focus on treating the eyes, lips, neck and face. Today, Christian Breton’s brand offers is recognised for offering safe and effective skincare solutions in over 50 countries worldwide.

Tell us about the journey of the brand and your share in it.
It all started with a deep admiration for my mother, a renowned scientist at the Institute Pasteur in France, which had dedicated her life to skincare research. Growing up in this environment, I developed a deep appreciation for the science behind skincare. Many years ago, I decided to turn my passion for skincare into reality by founding the Christian Breton brand.
As the eye area is 5x thinner and 10x more sensitive than the rest of the face, I developed an Eye Priority range with 25 products based on cryotherapy that reduces the main problem of the eye area: inflammation. Our scientifically developed range includes now solutions for dark circles, puffiness, blue circles, dryness, inflammation, blue light from computers, and both first and deeper wrinkles.
Over the years, we expanded our offer to include a complete skincare range that specialises in treating sensitive areas of the face, formulated with the highest quality ingredients and backed by scientific research. Today, we are present in nearly 60 countries, and I’m proud of our evolution and ongoing commitment to excellence.
Why did you decide to launch the brand in India?
We decided to launch the Christian Breton brand in India because we recognised the immense potential of the Indian market and the growing demand for high-quality skincare solutions especially for eye contour! We understand that the Indian market is diverse and dynamic, with a wide range of skin types, concerns and lifestyles, and we believe that our expertise in eye contour and targeted skincare solutions can have a significant impact on this market.
What makes your skincare line helpful for Indian consumers? Are you planning on any exclusive products for India?
As our formulas are developed under medical supervision and proven effectiveness, all our products are definitely what Indian customers need. Moreover, what sets us apart from other brands is the concept of cryotherapy, a cold-application technique. The cold temperature reduces inflammation, which is the main problem around the eyes, and becomes a real anti-ageing ally. We already know that our bestsellers in India will be our Liftox serum ‘the Botox without the needle’ and the dark under-eye serum which significantly reduces dark circles after just a few weeks of use!
Tell us about your collaboration with Baccarose.
Working with Baccarose was obvious for me. I was in contact with the founder many years ago and we were all waiting for the right time to launch the brand in India. Baccarose is for me the best partner, a really professional company that represents many international brands. Everything is now in place to successfully develop the brand closely and meet customer demand.
What is the USP of your cosmetic line?
Really easy to answer! Christian Breton is the only brand dedicated to the eye area. It’s the only cosmetic brand with a medical approach. We develop all our formulas in partnership with the lab of the hospital.
What are the behavioural patterns of the customer of anti-ageing products?
Our customers are looking for less promises, more science, more results. That is why our products undergo ophthalmological and dermatological testing to ensure their effectiveness. In addition, we conduct consumer testing with a women’s panel to maintain our unique focus on effectiveness and quality.
How do you perceive competition?
While other brands may focus on more generic products, we set Christian Breton apart with our medical and scientific approach to cosmetics. Our expertise in eye contour and our innovative use of cryotherapy positions us as pioneers in the industry.
Which new ranges can we expect from the brand this year?
Actually, the whole range is new to the Indian market! People will be crazy about our Eye Priority range and high-quality skincare. Trust me, try them, you will be convinced!
