Deconstruct launches Skincare Internship Season 2

Deconstruct launches Skincare Internship Season 2, offering six participants a paid, expert-guided skincare program aimed at making skincare simple, inclusive, and part of everyday routines.

Deconstruct, a science-backed skincare brand, has announced the return of its Skincare Internship Season 2. Applications are now open across India. Following the success of the first edition, the program continues the brand’s focus on making skincare easy to understand and practice as a daily habit.

The internship is open to anyone above the age of 18. No prior skincare knowledge or professional experience is required.

The aim of the program is to help participants understand basic skincare principles and build consistent routines. It also seeks to remove the idea that skincare is complex or limited to certain groups.

Six interns and paid opportunity

Deconstruct will select six participants for the program. Each intern will receive a stipend of ₹1 lakh.

They will also be given personalised skincare routines and product kits based on their individual skin types and concerns. The internship will run for 30 days and will take place remotely.

Expert guidance and learning

The program will include guidance from skincare coaches and sessions led by dermatologists. Interns will learn about ingredients, routine building, and skin health through structured digital interactions.

Participants will also gain access to brand support and professional skincare education throughout the program.

Focus on inclusivity

Half of the internship positions are open for male participants. The aim is promoting inclusivity and challenging the perception that skincare is only for women.

The program welcomes applicants from different age groups, genders, and backgrounds.

Digital-first application process

Applications will be accepted through the Unstop platform. Applicants are also encouraged to share their skincare habits and journeys on LinkedIn or Instagram after applying.

This approach shifts focus from traditional resumes to real-life skincare experiences and personal stories.

Brand visibility and recognition

In addition to the stipend, selected interns will receive social media features and the opportunity to represent the brand publicly.

The program positions skincare as a shared learning journey while building awareness around simple and consistent skin care practices.

From the leadership desk

Malini Adapureddy, Founder and CEO of Deconstruct, said, “The response to the first edition of the Skincare Internship exceeded our expectations and reaffirmed our belief that people are looking for science-led ways to begin their skincare journeys. That success encouraged us to bring back Season 2, while staying true to our goal of helping more people build healthier, more confident relationships with their skin, and reinforcing that skincare can be effective yet gentle.”
