The journey of Bodycraft Salon and spa which started in 1997 out of a one bedroom apartment has now culminated into The House of Bodycraft. A 4 story luxurious salon, spa and skin clinic at Frazer Town, Bengaluru. They have not only expanded their footprints with 18 salons and 17 clinics in India. But are also inching towards International frontiers.
Here’s the insight about their upward journey as a brand. Constantly working towards providing the best of the experience for their clients in terms of infrastructure, technicians, agents, and quality of service.
Evolution Of Skincare Industry:
“It has evolved tremendously, as earlier it used to be a struggle getting products on time, introducing new treatments due to unavailability of products.But now brands want to come to India and it’s really rewarding to see how much India is becoming a part of the global circuit. It’s scientific, advanced and at par with the international market.”
Must Have Qualities for a Skin Expert:
- As a therapist, one needs to have a soft, warm, welcoming pair of hands.
- The touch needs to be delicate, with a very soft finesse to it.
- Therapists need to be soft-spoken, and gentle. You need to care for that person’s skin like it’s your own.
- Lastly, one needs to have passion, warmth, love and care. To help improve the person’s looks and enhance their personality.

“The market is definitely buzzing with many skin treatments and it’s pretty inspiring to see the kind of buzz. Few of the trending concepts are:
- Clean beauty is a very big concept. Vegan products, sustainable products, these are some very, very important concepts to consider.
- Korean beauty is continuing to make a huge wave. And consciously trying to incorporate a lot scientific advanced treatments. In our salons, we work with treatments which are to rejuvenate skin. And is yielding of good results”.

“Products which are vegan, sustainable, environment friendly, skin friendly, safe will be trending in 2024. It’s fairly heartwarming to see Indian brands are taking a very strong step. Towards providing some of these requirements.
I really hope Korean beauty products can be a little more accessible. Their skin care is a huge success. Along with ingredients, products, science, and technology behind skincare concernes.”

“I have lived my life on very strong principles of honesty, integrity, ethics, passion, hard work. And have come to this stage only because of being grounded.”
Message for the Aspirants:
“My biggest message would be that it’s the best time to aspire towards pursuing your creative talent as a youngster. Back in the day, it was difficult to think about becoming a hairdresser. A MUA, nail technician, a beautician, or a therapist. So it’s the best time to get into vocational training, education.
And I think anybody who is aspiring should come to this industry with a lot of hope. And a positive attitude around the kind of success they will have in it”.
