With 51.7 million impressions, 2.1 million engagements, and activations across 120+ cities, India’s participation in World Wellness Weekend 2025 reinforces its role as a global wellness leader.

India has emerged as one of the Top 5 participating countries globally in World Wellness Weekend 2025 (WWW), marking a defining moment in the country’s journey as a global wellness powerhouse. With 51.7 million verified social media impressions, 2.1 million engagements, and activations in over 120 cities and towns, India’s participation reflected a unique blend of community engagement, luxury hospitality, and purpose-led collaboration.

Now in its ninth edition, World Wellness Weekend is celebrated across 180+ countries to encourage individuals and organisations to embrace proactive health, mindfulness, and community well-being. From Ladakh to Puducherry and Meghalaya to Maharashtra, India’s expansive participation stood out as one of the most inclusive wellness activities worldwide.

“India’s rise to global wellness prominence is no accident. From ancient rituals to modern innovations, we are witnessing a renaissance of our wisdom, language, and emotional presence,” shared Reena Sheth, World Wellness Weekend Ambassador, India & APAC, and Founder, Gaiia.

“The energy this year was electric. We saw collaborations between therapists, resorts, educators, and state tourism bodies. This was not an event, it was a movement,” added Shweta Parekh, WWW Ambassador.
