As per the brand, KAFFOIL is the first-ever upcycled cosmetic raw material that’s derived from coffee by-products. It is a coffee-derived oil that is a sustainably produced and nutrient-packed haircare and skincare ingredient.
It is rich in nutrients such as linoleic and palmitic acids, polyphenols, tocopherols and diterpene esters. Hence, this ingredient helps strengthen hair, reduce breakage, treat split ends, and enhance shine. It is also a great ingredient to take care of chemically-damaged hair. Moreover, it immensely benefits the skin with its anti-ageing and sun protection properties.
KAFFOIL: The Eco-Friendly Alternative to Argan Oil
As consumer emotions towards eco-friendly products are growing rapidly, the brand believes that argan oil is no longer the appropriate choice. Argan oil is extracted from Agran tree nuts found specifically in Morocco. The brand believes with argan oil being available in a small area alone, its extraction and distribution can cause several environmental and ethical issues. Furthermore, the extraction process, being long and laborious, causes several environmental threats. Hence, Kaffee Bueno believes an alternative is the need of the hour.
KAFFOIL is sourced sustainably by using coffee grounds and industrial coffee by-products. It is free of all synthesis and is made only using natural ingredients. To ensure sustainability and reduce production and transportation impact, the brand aims to set up several coffee biorefineries all over the world. By setting these up and sourcing raw materials from industrial coffee consumers, Kaffe Bueno can substantially reduce the pollution and transportation costs linked to the production of KAFFOIL. For every ton of KAFFOIL, the brand prevents the release of over 56,000 KG of CO2 into the environment.
