The Opulent Salon at Vasant Kunj, New Delhi recently delighted hair enthusiasts across the capital city as they got together with KEVIN.MURPHY, offering an exciting range of products and services for all. Vidhi Arya from Professional Beauty India shares everything that unfolded at the event.

KEVIN.MURPHY and The Opulent Salon got together and hosted an eventful evening full of pampering and hairstyling. Hosted by Streamline Beauty India Pvt. Ltd., the event opened floodgates to valuable knowledge sharing, immaculate hairstyling, and lots of pampering. The evening’s appeal was enhanced with floral décor, foot-tapping music, and loads of glam. 

As KEVIN.MURPHY launched its products at the Salon, the event highlighted many revered products from the brand. A range of both professional and retail products from KEVIN.MURPHY were on display for everyone to learn about.

The event presented an opportunity for the guests to understand their hair and brand products in detail. The brand and salon experts interacted with the guests and helped them with relevant hair consultations and styling sessions. The guests took the opportunity to understand their hair type and needs. Further, they could also understand the right products from the brand that fit their hair needs, both at salons and at home.

Several prominent influencers from the Delhi region were present on the floor, interacting with the experts and exploring the KEVIN.MURPHY range at the salon. They also got a chance to enjoy styling consultations and sessions from Agnes Chan, National Technical Head at KEVIN.MURPHY India. The highlight of the event was the presence of Peter McDonald, CEO, KEVIN.MURPHY and Aaron Littlewood, General Manager – Asia Pacific. Aankith Arora, CEO of Streamline Beauty India Pvt. Ltd was also present as the brand launched at The Opulent.

Commenting on partnerships and events with salons and the way forward, Aaron Littlewood says, “KEVIN.MURPHY is still a relatively new brand in India. By doing such events, we create awareness amongst consumers and hairdressers. But most importantly, we create partnerships. For us, relationships and partnerships are very important. There’s a huge opportunity for growth in India. There are hundreds of beautiful salons in the country. We hope that we can work with lots of them and expand that way. Just looking around us today, there are so many men and women, but mainly women with absolutely beautiful hair. And, they love to spend on their hair and I hope that our products can meet their needs.”

Expressing his enthusiasm, Aankith Aroraa further adds, “KEVIN.MURPHY is a hairdresser’s brand. We aim to promote and support hairdressers across the county. The salon channel is our primary channel for introducing the brand. We have got some big expansion plans in the next 2-3 months. And, every year we plan to launch partnerships with about 100-250 salons. We admire those who are passionate about building their business with our business and who believe in the philosophy of Kevin Murphy which is based around fashion, performance and sustainability.”
