Professional Beauty India 2026, Powered by Beauty Garage Pro, concluded its ninth edition at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, on June 29 and 30. Over two days, the event brought together barbers, hairstylists, makeup artists, and salon owners from across India. The event witnessed 19,038 attendees who explored live competitions, brand demonstrations, and a dedicated business conference.
Here’s a recap of everything that unfolded across the event.
Modern Barber Challenge
The Modern Barber Challenge kept the competition floor busy throughout both days. Day one focused on speed, while day two tested technical precision.
The competition opened with the Express Fade, a fast-paced 20-minute cutting challenge. It was followed by The Modern Barber, a 45-minute haircut category where competitors created a commercial fade starting from zero. The day concluded with the Beard & Moustache Styling category.
On day two, the technical difficulty increased. Creative Scissors prohibited the use of clippers, requiring contestants to rely solely on scissors and razors. Finally, Hair Tattoo challenged participants to create intricate hair designs. A rotating jury evaluated every category live.
Beauty Stage
Meanwhile, the Beauty Stage featured back-to-back brand presentations focused on skincare, makeup, and nail artistry.
On day one, Ozone opened with a skincare and bridal glow showcase. Recode followed with its signature makeup demonstration, while Shills Professional presented a nail art session. Malio and Skinora then showcased bridal looks. Finally, Hilary closed the day with a glass-skin bridal makeup demonstration.
On day two, the focus shifted towards technical education. London Pride demonstrated brush quality and application techniques. Lush Brow and Mary Jo K discussed permanent makeup (PMU). Later, Swiss Beauty, British Brow, and MARS Cosmetics presented glam and brow sessions before AIHBA concluded the stage.
Hair Stage
The Hair Stage served as a platform for product launches, technical education, and live styling demonstrations.
Day one began with Ikonic Professional unveiling its latest collection. GYK followed with nanoplastia and plex treatment techniques. Beauty Garage then presented a barbering and styling session. Throughout the day, STREAX, Krone, Iramo Professional, and Vega Professional demonstrated advanced techniques. K18 concluded the schedule with a look-and-learn seminar.
On day two, Velvetree focused on hair colour trends. Beauty Garage returned to demonstrate its Microfuel treatments. Dr Blossom Kochhar and Jas Jhally later presented a combined hair and fashion show for Aroma Magic. Iramo Professional, VGR, Mr Barber, and Kerafine also hosted technical demonstrations before the Modern Barber Awards closed the stage.

Unlike the branded stages, Platform highlighted independent artists and educators.
Day one centred on beauty. Makeup artists Pooja Madaan, Kaveri Singh, Eshita Gambhir, Mahima Bajaj, Yashika Sehgal, and Bhawna Singh each showcased signature techniques. One notable session focused on makeup for vitiligo skin. The day concluded with a premium barbershop experience presented by Prathamesh Sawant and Joel.

Next, Brendon Rice, JJ Savani, and Sadeq explored upcoming international hair trends. Bebi Oinam presented a French Bob demonstration before TONI&GUY concluded the Platform stage.
Salon Management Congress
Alongside the demonstrations, the Salon Management Congress (SMC) provided business-focused education for salon owners, managers, and entrepreneurs.
On day one, Vikas Vij delivered the welcome address. Five panel discussions followed, covering salon profitability, business expansion, client expectations, retail revenue, and team management. Industry experts including Dr Bharti Taneja, Ankit Virmani, Radhika Goyal, Karan Deol, and Sangeeta Chauhan shared practical insights.
Day two explored the future of the professional beauty industry. The opening panel examined the shift towards results-driven and preventative beauty services.
