The Ambani Wedding Just Concluded and We Loved These Looks

Anant Ambani finally tied the knot with his high-school love, Radhika Merchant after seven months of lavish pre-wedding celebrations. The grand ceremony took place at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai on July 12. As stars from across the globe graced the celebrations, Vidhi Arya from Professional Beauty India lists down some of the best-dressed Ambani wedding guests.

Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra

Kiara wore an elegant, traditional Gujarati look from the shelves of Torani. The purple lehenga with silver embroidery looked strikingly beautiful with the red dupatta. To top it all up, her heavily kohled eyes, full brows, nude lip shade, and slightly messy-curly braid added to the outfit’s charm. Her beau, Sidharth Malhotra wore a white Manish Malhotra sherwani featuring an intricate brocade work. His gelled-back hair and well-trimmed beard completed the look with finesse.

Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas

Priyanka Chopra opted for a muted yellow and heavily embroidered lehenga. She paired it up with archival jewellery from Bvlgari, loosely waved hair, and muted makeup with pink lips. Alongside, Nick Jonas wore a soft pink sherwani with a brooch featuring floral accents and grasshoppers. He appeared clean-shaved in a befitting crew cut.

Vicky Kaushal

Vicky Kaushal looked ‘tauba tauba’ at the Ambani wedding. He stepped out in an ivory and gold sherwani by Anamika Khanna, which he paired with an ivory dupatta. Kaushal wore makeup that looked natural, giving him a bright glow. He sported his classic heavy beard and a quiff, cut and styled by Aalim Hakim.

Karan Johar

Embracing one of the most-vogue colours, Karan Johar dressed up in a mint green Manish Malhotra sherwani along with a really long green dupatta with golden borders. Shinning bright, he wore a stunning neckpiece featuring Russian emeralds and uncut diamonds. His hair, styled by Rajeev Gogoi, all slicked back added finesse to his overall outlook.

Jacqueliene Fernandez

Jacqueline Fernandez oozed traditional, royal vibes at the wedding. Wearing an Anamika Khanna number, she draped one of her dupattas in a half-saree look and one over her shoulder, creating a play of colours and falls. Complementing the look, she wore vintage gold jewellery, including a waistband and a long jada billai in her hair. Her makeup was in shades of mocha and gold and the hair pulled back into a plat perfectly completed the look.

Alia Bhatt

Alia Bhatt donned a pink silk saree featuring a 160-year-old pallu and paired it with a golden bustier. She teamed up her saree with a heavy choker, earrings, and mang tikka in contrasting green. Bhatt’s dewy makeup, neutral lips,  and neatly slicked-back bun went sophisticatedly well with her attire.

Deepika Padukone

The mom-to-be Padukone was glowing and her red Anarkali by Torani, featuring heavy embroidery and gota patti work, made her glow even more. The stand-out feature of her look was her eye makeup. The heavily kohl-rimmed eyes perfectly complimented her dewy base and nude lips. She chose to tie her hair in a bun and adorned it with a gajra, adding unmatched grace to her traditional wear.
