Hairstyles are personal and subjective, and what may be trending for some may not be for others. The best hairstyle is one that makes you feel confident and comfortable.
As per the experts from hairdressing industry, 2023 is the year of long hair fashion. So, here’s a few trending long hair do’s by Rachit Malhotra, celebrity stylist and Director, Femina Plus Luxe to look out for 2023.
1. Glamour Queen Hairstyles:
- Only shampoo your hair, no conditioner.
- Use a voluminous mousse on the roots to length along with a Olivia garden heat pro brush for bouncier, more volumized and shinier look.
- Once the volume is achieved use a Mr Barber iron to get the achieved curls.
- Post curls, use an extreme hold finishing spray to maintain the look for a longer lasting effect.
2. Sleek Ponytail Hairstyles:
- Shampoo your hair along with a conditioner
- Blowdry your hair with a Mr Barber ceramic brush to make the hair neat and then followed by Mr Barber iron.
- Use a gel to control the hair.
- Create your ponytail base by using a Mr Barber tail comb to comb through your hair and then pull your hair to the back.
- Pull hair back & then use an elastic band or hair tie to hold it.
- Post that, use a finishing spray to keep the hair fixed.
- Use hair accessories to make the look sassy.
3. Messy Bun:
- Shampoo the hair and no conditioner to create a texture in hair.
- Use a volume mouse from roots to end.
- Blow dry the hair with Mr Barber ceramic brush by giving an extra lift from the roots in 90 degrees.
- Use a curl on curling tongs 28 inch barrel to get the curls from roots to ends.
- Make a pony tail on the back side and from ear to ear partition keep spreading the curls to the pony tail and wind it to make a messy bun.
- Accessorize with a fresh flower.
4. Messy Pony Hairstyles:
- Shampoo your hair and no conditioner to be used to create a texture.
- Use a moose on the lengths of hair and blow dry the hair with infinity pro blow dry by Mr Barber.
- Use a round ceramic brushes to take the frizz from the hair by Mr barber.
- Create a texture on the roots by adding Matt voluminous powder to add the volume on the roots.
- Use a Mr Barber curl on a conical tong from roots to ends. Create an ear to ear partition.
- The back partition to be made into a ponytail.
- Cover the pony tail by creating a pattern from ear to ear to back of the pony to create a messy ponytail
- Then accessorize it by using a very long hair accessory.
- The key is I used the flowing pattern of the hair to make it a little merging.
