no-file extensions

Stellar nails are a work of art backed by impeccable knowledge of technique and tools. As one steps in for nail art, they’re offered not only innumerable art forms but also techniques behind them. One such technique to achieve flawless, prim nails is the no-file nail extensions.

As we continue to acquaint ourselves with a myriad of nail techniques, we realise that beautiful-looking nails go beyond colours and designs. One such novel technique in the market is the no-file nail extensions. This technique uses paper form to create nail extensions. Without using any tips, it offers nails that feel light and look natural. In a conversation with Vidhi Arya, Disha Pandya, Founder of Shills Professionals, shines a light on what this technique is all about.

As we explore these extensions, Pandya starts with the basics. She explains that the products required for this are paper form, builder gel, the drill machine and filers for just a little bit of filing towards the end.

The no-file extension is a technique that’s really quick and relatively easy to achieve.  Pandya says, “It’s quick as it doesn’t require much time for filing. We do not use any artificial tips for this procedure. We make the tips with the help of the paper form and it is quicker.”

Benefits of No-File Nail Extensions

This technique, being a new launch in the market offers ample benefits. It’s suitable for clients as well as for the technicians. The effortlessness with which these tips are achieved ensures that technicians remain at ease. Pandya says, “It’s a very effective technique. Since it’s new, I suggest everyone should learn it. It saves lots of time and energy for the technician.”

Speaking of the benefits for the clients Pandya further asserts, “It is an excellent choice for the client for its durability. It stays for a long time — more than one or one and a half months. And if the client refills the extensions, it will stay for more than a month as well.”

Say Bye to Nail Health Concerns

One major concern that comes with nail art is always around nail health. Pandya puts the speculations to an end. She says, “No-file extensions are very safe for the client. It will not damage the nails because firstly, filing is minimal. Further, there is no excessive product applied to the nails. So, there is no need to remove these in any way that’s damaging to the nails.”

“There are no particular caring tips for these extensions. It’s simple — after the removal, the client should just apply a nourishing oil and the nails are good to go as these are very healthy extensions. There is no use of glue, it doesn’t have tips, and it doesn’t have long filing procedures. So, for this comparatively healthy extension, clients don’t have to care much, the nails will never get weak nails from this,” explains Pandya.

Quick Tip for Professionals

Disha Pandya concludes the conversation with a tip for all professionals. She says, “This is a new technique launch. No one is teaching it yet. I suggest all professionals should learn it. It’s an easy-to-perform, long-lasting procedure that can be great for a professional’s career growth.”
