Unveiling Elegance: Bharat Shringaar Make-up Contest

Pune’s Looks School of Hair and Beauty created a national stage for makeup artists to showcase talent with, Bharat Shringaar: The Ultimate Makeup Contest.

Looks School of Hair and Beauty Pune recently hosted the grand finale of “Bharat Shringaar: The Ultimate Makeup Contest.” The event showcased the talents of make-up enthusiasts from across India. The contest received over 480 entries, and the grand finale featured 20 exceptional finalists selected after multiple rounds.

The Finale

The finale featured 20 talented contestants from different parts of India. They showcased their skills by creating stunning Rajwadi brides, the chosen theme for the event. The event included a mesmerizing Ganesh Vandana, a live portrait painting of Lord Ganesha. Also, there was a live performance by the band The State Bus.

The grand finale saw Amit Sen from Rajasthan emerge as the winner. He bagged a trip to Paris sponsored by Looks Salon. Bhaskar Jyoti from Guwahati won a trip to Sri Lanka, sponsored by Mr. Barber. One unique aspect of the competition was that contestants did not know their models, attire, or makeup products beforehand.

The Jury

The jury for the finale was a mix of Indian and international experts, including Unnati Singh, International Beauty Educator and Director of IHB Education India; Bridgette Jones, Founder of Bridgette Jones Fashion Salon, Kolkata; Pammy Kaul, Creative Director of Headmasters, Chandigarh; Seema Jerajani, World Champion and internationally recognized hairstylist and make-up artist, Mumbai; Naina Karunaratne, Founder of the Sri Lanka Association of Hairdressers and Beauticians, Sri Lanka; and Joakim Roos, Global Educator and jury member of OMC, Sweden.

The Vision

The entire competition was the vision of Manisha Kumari, Director and Founder of Looks School of Hair and Beauty, and was beautifully executed with the support of esteemed sponsors such as Looks Salon and Europe Girl as Title Sponsor, Mr. Barber as Tool Partner, Oulac Cosmetics, Blush N Brown, and Brillare as Gift Sponsors, Bluesky as Nail Sponsor, Milkshake as Styling Sponsor, and Professional Beauty as Media Partner.
