For the last couple of days, a random picture of an onion and its memes have appeared on people’s Instagram feed. The brilliant campaign, #WahKanda, was for a new onion oil concentrate launched by Beardo

Beardo a week ago made an Instagram page devoted to a picture of an onion that circulated around the web among buyers, influencers, meme pages among others, earning 60k+ likes, 28k+ comments. The #WahKanda campaign started ahead of the launch of its product ‘Onion Oil Concentrate’, says “the Kanda will make your hair go Wah!”

The viral onion
The Instagram page made by Beardo had only one post on it, of an onion, with no context. That post garnered 50k+ likes which led to a stream of memes on the internet.

Beardo also roped in influencers like Bhuvan Bam, Amit Bhadana and Zakir Khan to post stories around this to create a buzz. The curiousness created around #WahKanda was quite effective and led to the successful launch of Beardo’s newest launch, the onion oil concentrate.

The Beardo Onion Oil concentrate
Beardo Onion Oil Concentrate is made using cold pressed red onion oil which keeps nutrients like sulphur, vitamin B complex, E, C and other minerals intact. It also has the goodness of sunflower oil which is known for its nourishing and moisturizing properties. Unlike other common onion oils, the Beardo Onion oil concentrate will aid hair growth, prevent hair loss and provide ultimate nutrition and moisture to the hair.
