Professional wrestler and actor, Dwayne Johnson has recently joined the list of celebrities who own a beauty brand. Dwayne Johnson’s new launch, Papatui is an affordable personal care brand for men. Offering an accessible range of skincare products, the brand is currently available only in the United States.
Dwayne Johnson, famously known as ‘The Rock’ announced the launch of Papatui. The actor named his brand in honour of his Samoan grandfather, the High Chief Peter Maivia. The brand sprouts out of the star’s belief in the importance of overall wellness and self-care. Papatui has been launched with an array of skincare, body care, hair care, and also tattoo care products.
With three years of research and development with a team of scientists and experts, the brand launched a range of products for men in the US. These products, with a clean ingredient list, focus on delivering high-quality performance specifically for men.
All Papatui products are free of parabens, dyes, alcohol, and sulphates. The formulations of the skincare products include key ingredients like hyaluronic acid, ceramides, salicylic acid, and niacinamide. Furthermore, the tattoo care and body care products include nourishing ingredients like mango butter and coconut oil.

Along with the personal care products, the brand also features three luxury scents. The brand has developed sandalwood suede, cedar sport, and lush coconut in collaboration with Firmenich, a luxury fragrance house. Principle perfumers such as Frank Voekl and Clement Gavarry formed a part of the team that developed the scents. These have been designed to compete against top global fragrances.
