The British revolutionary company, Dyson gears up to engineer medical ventilators for coronavirus patients in the UK
With the virtue of helping coronavirus infected patients, Dyson announced it will help develop a medical ventilator, with the National Health Service (NHS) in the UK. Sir James Dyson, Founder of Dyson said it had responded to the government’s request for help.

In a statement, Dyson said it had been working with The Technology Partnership, a medical company based in Cambridge, to develop a “meaningful and timely response”. “This is a highly complex project being undertaken in an extremely challenging timeframe,” it added. “We are conducting a fully regulated medical device development, including testing in the laboratory and in humans, and we are scaling up for volume.”
In a recent email sent by James Dyson to the staff, he said, “We have received an initial order of 10,000 units from the UK Government which we will supply on an open-book basis,” seen by Reuters.
Brands like Airbus, Smiths Group Plc, Ford Motor Co and McLaren have also joined the forces and are on ground for developing a ventilator to help the NHS.
