Dhun Wellness raises $4 million in fresh funding to expand into multiple Indian cities and strengthen its longevity-focused wellness model that combines traditional healing systems with modern preventive health science.
Dhun Wellness, founded by entrepreneur Mira Rajput Kapoor, has raised $4 million (around ₹36.6 crore) in a new funding round. The investment was co-led by SRF Ltd (Kama Group) and Havells India through QRG Investment & Holdings.
The round also included several angel investors from the startup, venture capital, and luxury sectors. The brand will use the funding to expand Dhun Wellness beyond its Mumbai flagship centre into Pune, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, and Ahmedabad.
A new model of urban wellness
Mira Kapoor launched Dhun Wellness in 2023 with a focus on integrating traditional healing with modern science. Its first centre is located in Bandra, Mumbai, and spans 6,000 square feet.
The facility includes 13 treatment rooms named after musical terms. It is designed as an in-city wellness sanctuary for working professionals and urban consumers. The concept moves away from destination retreats and instead offers regular and accessible wellness programs.
Blending tradition and technology
The Dhun model works on three core pillars.
Traditional therapies include Ayurveda, traditional Chinese medicine, and sound healing practices.
Modern longevity-focused treatments such as electric cryotherapy, infrared saunas, and red light therapy.
Clients can also choose from structured seven-day programs focused on gut health, sleep alignment, and stress management. These programs include personalised care plans and post-treatment home guidance.
Growing demand for preventive wellness
Dhun Wellness reports steady month-on-month growth in demand. The brand is positioning itself within the preventive and longevity wellness segment.
This segment is gaining momentum as consumers seek solutions that improve long-term health rather than short-term relaxation. The global wellness market is projected to cross $250 billion by the next decade, creating space for integrated urban wellness formats.
Expansion and longevity vertical
The new funding will support both physical expansion and service development. Dhun plans to open centres in multiple Indian cities over the next phase of growth.
The company will also build a dedicated longevity vertical focused on preventive care and clinical wellness programs. This includes data-based protocols, evidence-led treatments, and extended at-home wellness support.
Dhun Wellness aims to strengthen its position at the intersection of luxury wellness and preventive healthcare in urban India.
