Monish Parulekar, make-up artist, Europe Girl Cosmetics, decoded the wedding look of the actress with Professional Beauty India.
Previously, in the yesteryear’s Bollywood actresses opted for traditional glam looks for their real life weddings. However, there is a change in this trend where the Bollywood divas today are subsequently preferring subtle yet glamorous looks for their wedding day.
Priyanka Parshurami, caught up with Monish Parulekar, make-up artist, Europe Girl Cosmetics to specifically decode the step-by-step wedding look of Kiaara Advani.
Base make-up:
- Clean the face using a wet wipes for cleaning the face thoroughly
- After cleaning the face, use toner to close all the open pores on the face.
- Use Serum For creating a smooth base
- Under Eye Cream to minimize fine lines.
- Prep your skin well with moisturiser to get underneath glow & hydrated skin.
Make-up Foundation:
- Use a primer to even out your skin and create a smooth canvas for your foundation to glide in.
- Strobe cream is used to create a dewy base and it reflects the shine from the base.
- Liquid concealers are used for correction and pigmentation. For correction and pigmentation, Always take two shades darker concealer to hide the problematic area
- Take any medium coverage foundation and apply it all over the face and neck, take skin tone shade foundation to create a flawless base and subtle look.
- Apply Liquid concealer highlighter on highpoints of the face
- Use cream bronzer light shade on the contouring area to create a natural look.
- It is used to fix your base.
- Use studio fix only on highlighted areas
- Use Powder bronzer
- Use light peach shade blush on to create a natural looking skin
- Use champagne shade highlighter on the cheeks & other highpoints of the face
Eye Makeup
– Use light-shade concealer for the eye base
– On the crease line use a medium shade of warm brown shade and blend it well so no harsh line should be visible.
– On the lid area apply a goldish copper shade with the help of a flat eyeshadow brush
– Spreaded Linear with back linear
– Highlighter to highlight the eyebrow bone area
– Black Kajal on the waterline
– Apply volume mascara on the lashes
Lipstick Application:
– Apply warm nude peach shade lipstick on the lips
– Use the Fixer to fix & lock the makeup
