What’s happening at the conference
Bombay Barber’s Conference presents you with the opportunity to learn the best in barbering from three well-known international artists. Jordan Tabakman, Aidan Sloan and JJ Savani, each will give a 45-minute live demonstration session. These will focus on men’s haircuts, beard work, and modern styling techniques.
The conference aims to give the attendees an edge by giving them access to global tools, methods, and ideas. These sessions will focus on practical techniques that will be instrumental in uplifting the attendees’ career trajectories and enhancing their craft.
Carmelo Francese, Director, Vitality Hair India (Gamma+ Distributor), says, “I and Sanjiv Sharma planned and discussed the opportunity of creating a barbering event that will bring not just the barbering community together but also the Indian barber community to a new level. Indian barbering is falling behind the rest of the world. This is not a quality perspective, the quality is very high. But, in the perspective of earning the income that they should afford as stylists and creative people.
So, together Hairotic Men and Gamma+ have put together an event called the Bombay Barbering Conference. At this conference, we have brought together three international guest artists who are recognised in India and the world over. They will deliver a programme for the Indian community particularly in the barbering community. They will show and give examples of how barbering can be delivered in the Indian market from a global perspective. Whilst this is only in Bombay right now our intentions are to deliver this throughout pan India over time. We want to make sure that we do this on an annual basis.
