Set to be the biggest event of the British Hairdressing industry, The British Hairdressing Awards 2020 by Hairdressers Journal has been an event awaited by all. Sponsored by Schwarzkopf Professional, this event will be streamed LIVE on 30th November at 20:00 UTC on the official Facebook page of HJ.

Awards Night On A Virtual Stage
Every year since its inception, the British Hairdressing Awards event has been held in the glorious surroundings of the Great Room at the Grosvenor House Hotel, London attracting 2,000 guests including 100 finalists in 17 categories. Owing to the current situation of the pandemic, this awards night has been moved onto a virtual stage. It represents both the current times and the dynamism and creativity of an industry that adapts and embraces change.

Making The World Their Oyster
While conducting these awards online maybe a big shift, but the virtual event is an exciting new chapter for the event and means even more hairdressers can get involved from all over the world to witness and be part of this event.

From Afro to Art Team, this year’s submissions are especially unique as they represent the hairdressers’ favourite ever work, the glorious collection presented by finalists is one to watch out for.
