Largest makeup application lesson
When it comes to uplifting the standards of the beauty and hair industry, L’Oréal has been one of the torchbearers. Living up to their legacy, the brand made a world record for the largest make-up application lesson. A staggering 442 people attended the workshop.
Uche Natori was the host of this class. She was named as “TikTok’s Fashion and Beauty Content Creator of the Year” for 2024. Everyone who attended went back with a makeup bag full of L’Oréal products.

Our salons have some gearing up to do because this record is a huge one! A team of experts from Benefit Cosmetics, Australia, made a world record for most eyebrow waxes in eight hours. They managed to perform 435 eyebrow waxes in eight hours at their Myer City store in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.

Widest wig ever made
The market for hair wigs is expanding at a rapid pace, and the variety of options available is brilliant. So, surely one of the records in beauty and hair is deserved by this segment. Helen Williams, owner of Hair Rite 9ja, took wig-making to the next level by creating the widest wig in the world.
The 3.65 metre (11 ft 11 inches) wig was made by her in Nigeria. Amazingly, she also holds the record for the longest handmade wig (351.28 metres)

We all know that hairstyling is a long, tedious process, but not for Rachel Brown. This US-based hair artist created a total of 32 hairstyles in just eight hours. She made the world record at the Salon Mimosa in Florida, USA. For the record, Brown gave each client a hair wash, rinse, cut, and then a style.
