Yes Madam and B&WSSC together, plan to enhance and refine skills and job prospects for 1500 professionals, majority being women.
Yes Madam, a technology-enabled beauty and wellness platform, has partnered with the Beauty and Wellness Sector Skill Council (B&WSSC) to empower and upskill around 1,500 professionals in the coming six months. This strategic partnership will also allow professionals to refine their skills and grab better job opportunities.
Additionally, 20 beauty experts from Yes Madam duly affiliate with an exceptional cohort of 150 other beauty and wellness experts. The brands include, Blossom Kocchar, Tatva Ayurveda and others excelled in B&WSSC assessments and got certified. Yes Madam seeks to certify its beauty professionals through this partnership. It will also provide training to an additional 1,500 beauty professionals within six months.
The program will last for at least 15 days. It is to ensure that participants are thoroughly immersed in a comprehensive training regimen. Following the programme, students must pass the B&WSSC exam. It is in order to be certified, which will attest to their expertise in the beauty and wellness industry. The partnership aims to provide exceptional training and certification regimens of a global calibre.

The collaboration with B&WSSC coincides with the Skill Gap Study ceremony, which took place on March 31, 2023. KPMG conducted the report titled “Bridging the Skill Gap, Beauty-Fully,” which provided a comprehensive analysis of the pressing demand for skilled personnel in various sub-sectors of beauty and wellness. The report projected the demand for skilled personnel until 2030. The formation of this alliance will address the skill gap and provide better job opportunities for beauty professionals.
