To celebrate the remarkable 40-year collaboration between Schwarzkopf Professional and HJ’s British Hairdressing Awards, a distinguished lineup of Schwarzkopf Professional Ambassadors—each a member of the British Hairdressing Awards Hall of Fame—joined forces for a special creative project. Reflecting the ruby symbolism traditionally associated with a 40th anniversary, the entire shoot embraced a luxurious red theme. Each ambassador paid tribute by selecting a defining figure or moment from the past four decades that has left a lasting impact on the world of hairdressing. “It was a massive thrill and honour to be asked to shoot this collection for such an amazing occasion, but with that comes a lot of pressure to get it right - but good pressure! On the day, you know when magic is happening and, on that day, it certainly did! This collection is something I’ll remember as a stand-out moment in my photography career,” said Michael Young.
