SUGAR Cosmetics has introduced Sugarquoted, a podcast focused on beauty education in India. The initiative is developed in collaboration with YOSO Media, a content and storytelling studio.

The podcast is hosted by Vineeta Singh, CEO and Co-founder of SUGAR Cosmetics, and a judge on Shark Tank India. The format is designed to create structured and informed conversations around beauty, moving beyond short-form trends and viral advice.

Focus on education and insight

Sugarquoted positions itself as a platform for deeper discussion within a crowded beauty content landscape. Each episode features conversations with creators, founders, dermatologists, and industry voices.

The discussions cover professional insight, personal experiences, and industry realities. Topics extend beyond products to include science, entrepreneurship, identity, and wellness. The aim is to present beauty as both a cultural and business-driven sector.

Debut episode and guest line-up

The first episode features Ankush Bahuguna, one of India’s early male beauty creators. Known for challenging gender norms in makeup, Bahuguna has built a large audience through his digital content and brand collaborations.

The season’s guest list includes Diipa Khosla, founder of global beauty brand Inde Wild; Dr. Jamuna Pai, cosmetologist and founder of Blush Clinic; and Namita Thapar, entrepreneur and investor. Together, the lineup brings perspectives from content creation, clinical expertise, brand building, and investment.

Addressing a growing market

India’s beauty and personal care market’s current valuation is at USD 28 billion and it is likely to reach USD 34 billion by 2028. While content volume has increased rapidly, access to credible and educational voices remains limited.

Sugarquoted aims to address this gap by offering a consistent and trusted platform. Through long-form conversations, the podcast seeks to bring clarity, context, and accountability to discussions around beauty in India.

From the leadership desk

Vineeta Singh, CEO and Co-founder, SUGAR Cosmetics:

“Beauty in India deserves a deeper conversation. With Sugarquoted, we’re creating a space where we can move beyond trends and truly explore what beauty means – a ritual, a passion, a business, and a form of self-expression. This podcast is for anyone who has ever loved a lipstick, obsessed over a skincare routine or simply wondered why beauty matters far more than we often admit.”

Ashish Sangle, Co-founder and COO, YOSO Media:

“While podcasting may seem crowded, we strongly believe that long-form content still builds trust when done with clarity and intent. Partnering with SUGAR Cosmetics on Sugarquoted allows us to combine our experience in building content-led platforms with SUGAR’s deep understanding of the Indian beauty consumer. This is not just another podcast – it’s a meaningful step towards elevating beauty education in India.”
