About Amaltaas Collection:
Amaltaas is actually a tree, and known as ‘a golden shower tree’. In this particular season it has golden flowers. And my current collection is an Indian wedding couture, which is colourful, vibrant, baandi works, zardozi embroideries as a result it depicts the Amaltaas Tree. Hence the name Amaltaas Collection. Also no one piece of the collection is similar, but still in such a sync that can be teamed up with any piece of the collection.
Inspiration Behind the Collection:
I am very closely rooted to our Indian culture and tradition. I have a special love for Indian art and culture, the handloom, handicrafts works, the baandi prints which represent royalty. However, while curating the collection, I also had to consider the current generation brides. Hence, maintaining a perfect balance between the royalty and modern trends with minimal embroideries, modern day’s high cuts, dupattas can be designed in a way so draped on the shoulder or around the arms.
Amaltaas is an alliance of authentic Indian Art and culture with a modern twist. The brides who wear this will be close to her Indian roots and could have fun and look on top of her game in this collection.

Any collection launched speaks and represents a designer’s personality and feelings. And every designer has a particular visual of the styling in their mind while curating the collection. As a result, looks are utmost important for success or failure of any fashion collection. Fashion always starts with beauty and hair. As a result in the Amaltaas Collection, I have straight hair, basic transparent makeup and minimal jewellery look. Which will help the bride maintain a modern royal look on her important date of life. Also it would help the bride to have fun and enjoy her own wedding.
