Clarins Group has earned the prestigious B Corp™ label. This recognises its two brands, Clarins and myBlend, for their commitment to people and the planet.
B Corp™ is a global benchmark for companies that balance profit with purpose. Only a small number of large companies earn this label. Clarins now joins a community of businesses that value both performance and responsibility.
This achievement reflects the values Clarins has held since 1954. From the start, the brand has aimed to combine excellence with innovation, transparency, and care for the environment and society.
Clarins has always believed in doing business the right way. Being a family-owned company for 70 years has helped it focus on long-term goals. Sustainability is at the heart of this vision.
Here are some of Clarins’ key commitments:
- By 2025, 80% of its plant-based ingredients will be certified organic.
- Two agricultural ‘Domaines’ dedicated to regenerative and organic farming. These support traceability and production that protects biodiversity. By 2030, one-third of Clarins’ plant ingredients will come from these farms.
- Clarins has cut carbon emissions by 48% from 2019 to 2024.
- 98% of its freight is transported without using air shipping.
Clarins is also committed to strong values in its workplace and supply chain:
- Women hold 62% of top management positions. In France, the gender equality index is 94 out of 100.
- The company supports 23 fair trade channels. It aims to assess 100% of its suppliers on CSR by 2030.
- Clarins also gives back. Since 1997, it has awarded the Prix Clarins pour l’Enfance. Since 1989, it has supported Fondation Arthritis. It has provided 45 million school meals since 2011.
- Clarins values transparency. It uses blockchain technology through its TRUST platform to trace ingredients. All products are made in France and go through over 250 quality checks.
