<p>An environmental champion, Anne Veck challenges herself and the hair industry to face up to the uncomfortable truth of the destructive reality of out consumer world. Shot in a scrapyard, each image illustrates the eco-impact of key industries – textiles, fashion, and hair and their over use of plastic, landfill waste and environmental pollution. She has also used the opportunity to highlight the impact of unsustainable food production and fishing. Combining her creative skills with genuine discarded plastic, metal, fishing line and paint, Toxic Fashion aims to draw attention to the reality of consumer fashion and the need to create a more sustainable industry.</p>
