Hy-dra-ma: Diving into Inspiration

Inspired by the majesty of the ocean, Hy-dra-ma is a collection that fuses the fluidity of water with dramatic hair artistry. As a hairstylist and make-up artist, I’ve always been drawn to the beauty of the sea – its aqua hues, fluid movements, and intricate coral formations. Recently, the swirling patterns of brain coral ignited my creativity, inspiring me to translate these organic forms into bold, captivating hairstyles. The journey began with studying the unique shapes and textures of coral, aiming to mimic their gravity-defying twists and curves. Using techniques like curling, braiding, and twisting, I crafted intricate, coral-like patterns that evoke the ocean's natural beauty. With Hy-dra-ma, my goal is to transport wearers to an underwater world of wonder, where each hairstyle becomes a testament to the ocean’s ability to inspire awe and creativity.
