Forest Essentials specialises in luxury skincare and wellness products. It recently appointed Antara Kundu to lead its marketing and communications department.
Speaking of Forest Essentials, it is an authentic, traditional skincare brand with its foundations in the ancient science of Ayurveda. It’s a pioneer of Luxurious Ayurveda. Before joining the luxury skincare brand, Kundu worked at The Body Shop. She held the position of General Manager – Marketing, Brand, and Customer Acquisition for Asia South. There she worked for a period of four years. She recently announced her departure from the global beauty and cosmetics brand via a post on LinkedIn.
“After 4 years, on 14th April’23, I said goodbye to the desk, teammates and workplace that has been my home,” Antara Kundu said. “My last day at The Body Shop India was spent not very differently from my first – in a whirl of exciting campaigns, challenging deadlines, brainstorming sessions but with the sense of real purpose that drives amazing TBS teams, all over the world.”
“Working on a changemaking brand like The Body Shop has been one of the great privileges of my professional life,” Kundu added. “Growing up often means leaving home, and so I’m incredibly excited for what’s coming next!”
Prior to joining The Body Shop, Kundu professionally worked with renowned brands such as Kama Ayurveda, Avon, and Colorbar USA. Meanwhile, Kundu has 15 years of industry experience in consumer marketing. She has developed expertise in the beauty and lifestyle sectors, specifically in consumer packaged goods (CPG).
