Cosmeceutical brand, Freecia Professional India Pvt Ltd has inaugurated a newly-built manufacturing unit in Manesar, Haryana. Spanning over 12,000 square feet, this facility boasts cutting-edge automation that aims to elevate standards and meet the increasing market demands. In a conversation with Vidhi Arya from Professional Beauty India, the Director at FPIPL, Preeti Mannan takes us through the vision behind the unit and the road map ahead.
For Freecia, the new manufacturing unit, syncing with the spirit of the ‘Make In India’ campaign, doesn’t just strengthen its dedication to delivering an array of products but also demonstrates its commitment to enhancing local employment opportunities.

With a capacity of producing around one million products per month, Freecia has put together stringent quality control measures in the plant. As cutting-edge research and development facilities form a part of this new unit, it will aid the company in producing premium skin and hair care solutions tailored to modern Indian needs.
For Freecia, Every Detail Counts
While discussing the details of the unit, Mannan explains, “Right from the level of testing to formulation to packaging everything will now be done right here. This is our first factory and we are very proud of the infrastructure we have developed. We have taken care of the minutest of nuances while setting it up and we’ve made no compromise. Be it the procurement of fully automatic machines, the area demarcations, the state-of-the-art laboratories, or the welfare of the labourers, including dormitories and their beds, everything has been taken care of with great attention to detail.”
The move to set up a manufacturing unit within the country comes as a response to the success and increased demand for PROADS Professional. Mannan elaborates, “PROADS is a very famous product in India and there’s a very high demand for the same. Shifting the manufacturing to Indian land will allow us to meet the demands. This takes away the hassles that come with importing, especially the long waiting periods. With a manufacturing unit, we can cater for the surging demand while offering top-notch quality and competitive prices.
The Road Ahead
This unit will also stand monumental for Freecia as the company now ventures into skincare with TEYLIE COSMETICS. “With this factory, we will venture into skin care as well. We will be producing our face bleach, facials, Detan packs and men’s grooming products like waxes, beard waxes, etc. here. So, yes, we are expanding our horizon from hair care to skin care as well.” Says Mannan.
Mannan concludes by giving us a sneak peek into the future plans for Freecia. She explains, “From being a trader to being a manufacturer, we have taken a big leap. Moving forward, we have plans to open our export channel in Australia, Nepal, Sri Lanka, and Dubai. In the next few months, we will be implementing it. We are already in the stages of advanced talks and our paperwork for this is in place. As for the manufacturing unit, we are hoping for more to come.”
