How would you describe Gamma+ India’s journey so far in one sentence? And, what has been your proudest moment since the launch in India?

“The launch into India has been an exciting journey not only are we introducing a globally recognised brand to the Indian market, but through platforms like Bombay Barber Conference (BBC) Mumbai, we’re also helping elevate the standard of education among hairdressers and barbers across the country.”

Which product from the Gamma+ range do you think has become a fan favourite in India? Why?

Most local tools are low-cost, low durability. Stylists are used to frequent replacements rather than long-term value. Globally, there’s a broader acceptance that premium quality comes at a premium price and that’s the value Gamma+ consistently delivers. Our goal isn’t just to sell tools, it’s to shift the mindset of the market.

How is the brand working to build deeper connections with the Indian salon and barber community?

Our approach with Gamma+ in the Indian market goes beyond just selling products it’s about educating and uplifting Indian hairdressers and barbers, aligning them with global standards. Naturally, an outtake of this journey will be increased sales, but our core focus is on building skill and community.

Are you facing any challenges while building the brand in India, and how do you overcome them?

Naturally, every business faces its share of challenges and new ones arise each day. Some require quick solutions, while others demand time, strategy, and patience to resolve. Our focus has been on educationshowing professionals the long-term value of premium tools. Building trust takes time, but it’s what builds a lasting brand.

Are there any upcoming launches or India-specific developments we can look forward to?

Gamma+ offers a wide range of products globally, but we’ve intentionally launched with a focused selection in India. This allows local stylists to first familiarize themselves with the brand and its quality. Over time, we’ll continue to introduce new innovations and expand the range in line with market needs.

What’s your long-term vision for Gamma+ in India over the next 3 to 5 years?

Our vision is to establish Gamma+ as a leading professional beauty tool brand across India. We aim to build a strong foundation through localized education, a dedicated ambassador program, and regular events that feature our top international stylists, helping elevate the industry nationwide.
