I Tried The New Fit Face Workout in Mumbai And Here’s How It Went

I don’t know about you, but a relaxing workout is an oxymoron I never thought I’d use. Yet, here we are. I wasn’t entirely sure what to expect going into this new exercise regime at Fit Face, but what I can say is this: there’s no doubt that I’ll be going back to exercise my face.

The Warm-up

After making my way to their Khar gym, I met my trainer, who began with an analysis of my skin. Turns out, I have the skin of a 29-year-old. Who knew?

That said, my face needed some work. My skin was oily, with a few open pores and some pigmentation. The analysis suggested their ‘Breathe’ routine, a combination of focused muscle work and detoxification, including lymphatic drainage and depuffing.

Post-assessment, I was guided to my workout station: a comfortable lounger that reclines all the way back, perfect for a quick power nap. And then, my training began.

The Workout

Once I settled in the recliner, my trainer began with a cleansing wipe, a quick prep before the more rigorous work. She followed this with oils and creams tailored to my skin concerns.

And that’s when the real shift took place. What followed can only be described as cardio. This is where it stopped feeling indulgent and started feeling intentional, like my face was being trained rather than treated.

The strokes grew sharper, faster, and more deliberate. There was firm, upward kneading along the jawline, rapid pinching across the cheekbones, and rhythmic tapping that jolted my skin awake. At one point, the trainer used her knuckles to work deeper into the muscles. It was intense, slightly uncomfortable, but oddly satisfying. I could feel the tension being released in real time.

The Recovery

Just when the workout began to feel a little too intense, the pace shifted. Slower, more fluid movements took over, as if my face was being given a moment to recover. Think: rest intervals between sets. These transitions are what kept the experience balanced. It was never fully relaxing but never overwhelming either.

The tools added another dimension. Cold ice globes glided across my skin, immediately calming the heat built up from the stimulation. It was cooling, soothing, and grounding. This was followed by a roller tracing the contours of my face in upward motions, reinforcing the sculpted effect while easing the intensity.

For me, though, the facial cupping stood out the most. Small silicone cups created a gentle suction, lifting and releasing the skin in quick, controlled movements. It felt unusual at first but quickly settled into a rhythm that was almost meditative. By this point, I realised I had stopped resisting the process and simply let it happen.

The Results

Throughout the 40-minute session, every movement felt intentional; nothing dragged or pulled the skin down. The entire workout felt structured, methodical, and surprisingly precise. And then, just like that, it ended. No lingering wind-down, no drawn-out finish.

However, the real effect hits the moment you sit up. There’s an immediate tightness to the face. It wasn’t uncomfortable, but firm. Held. My cheekbones looked more defined, my jawline sharper, and there was a noticeable lift that hadn’t been there before.

More than how it looked, though, it was about how it felt. My face felt lighter, less tense, as though the tightness I carry in my jaw and cheeks had been physically released. This experience may not have been relaxing in the traditional sense, but its merit lies somewhere between the intensity of the strokes and the quiet moments in between.

Fit Face proved to be a workout in the truest sense, and it left me feeling both worked on and unexpectedly reset in equal measure.
