Beauty Therapy and Hairdressing aspirants now have a national stage to showcase their skills and represent India globally.
The Beauty & Wellness Sector Skill Council (B&WSSC) is delighted to announce that registrations for IndiaSkills 2025, India’s largest and most prestigious skill competition are now officially open. Young individuals born on or after 1st January 2004 can apply under the Beauty Therapy and Hairdressing categories, two core disciplines representing the evolving face of India’s beauty industry.

IndiaSkills offers participants a unique opportunity to gain national recognition and a chance to represent the country at WorldSkills and the upcoming WorldSkills Asia 2025, which will be hosted in Taiwan in November. The Asian edition will see over 500 competitors from 40 countries, competing in 38 skills, placing Indian talent on a global pedestal.

Through strategic partnerships with training institutes, industry leaders, schools and colleges, we aim to build a strong foundation for skill-based excellence. To drive wider participation, B&WSSC is implementing targeted outreach via social media campaigns, collaborations with government-funded and private academies, and extensive awareness-building efforts.
