Lotus Herbals’ innovation fund has backed Korean beauty and skincare startup KorinMi with ₹10 crore, as the brand looks to expand its clinics and strengthen its direct-to-consumer skincare footprint in India.
How It All Started
In just under a year of operations, KorinMi has served over 3,000 clients since opening its first location in October 2024, currently running across three clinics in Gurugram. Founded in 2024, the startup offers personalised skincare and haircare treatments backed by 3D skin analysis, dermatologists and trained therapists, bringing South Korean treatment protocols, equipment and formulations to the Indian market through both its clinics and a direct-to-consumer product line tailored to Indian consumers.
Where KorinMi Is Headed Next
With ₹10 crore now secured, KorinMi is setting its sights on Mumbai, Bengaluru and Hyderabad. The investment marks the third deployment from Lotus Herbals’ US$50 million innovation fund, dedicated to backing emerging beauty and wellness businesses.
The Bigger Shift
The backing signals a broader shift in India’s rapidly expanding aesthetics market, where demand for premium, personalized skincare experiences is no longer a niche pursuit and K-beauty is steadily moving from trend to mainstream.
